Team Effort! at The Old Hairdresser’s and Stereo – Monday 26th May to Thursday 29th May 2014
Across four nights in the Old Hairdresser’s and Stereo, Team Effort! curated a series of informal multi-arts events for eclectic audiences.
The Cult Of The Worst – Tramway – Saturday 15th February 2014
In December 2013 we were invited to be a part of Tramway’s Rip It Up season of experimental, work-in-progress sharings in its enormous T1 space. Team Effort! then started a process of emails, meetings, conversations and idea sharing, culminating in a week-long residency in the space and a public sharing on Saturday 15th February 2014.
It was the first time the Team Effort! artists had collaborated on a piece of work together. The multi-discipline production sold out and was described by Mary Brennan in the Herald as “a very merry mosaic of monologue, banter, film and music.” You can read about the artist’s experiences of the week in our blogs from the time and you can watch archive footage of the event below.
IF – June 1st to August 24th 2013 – Southside Studios
Throughout the summer of 2013, we hosted seven informal arts events called IF at the Southside Studios. The events showcased scratchy, work-in-progress visual art, music and theatre: artists were invited to be bold and audiences were encouraged to be generous and supportive in response.
